Education for Referral Partners
About this resource hub
Working alongside GPs and Psychiatrists, we’re focused on designing a safe, supportive, collaborative and tailor-made experience for clients that will help guide them towards enriched mental health and overall well-being.
This section of our website is a resource hub we are developing to support you, our referral partners. This is the one-stop-shop for you to find out everything you need in order to refer - and feel comfortable referring - clients to us.
Let us know if there is anything else you would like us to add here that will assist you in referring your clients who require psychlogical treatment.
Our team
We have a team of clinicial psychologists ready to treat the clients you refer to us, often with wait times of only a couple of days.
Our clinical psychologists have undergone extensive training in the implementation of evidence-based approaches either through a Masters, Doctorate, or combined PhD/Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
This depth of knowledge allows our team to assist those experiencing a range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, perfectionism, phobias, sleep disturbance and anger.
All clinicians at the practice receive quality mentoring and supervision personally from Peter Walker & Sophie Li, with Registrars receiving the highest level of attention and support.
Since our practice was founded in 2002, we have developed a reputation for empathy, understanding and sensitivity. We offer our clients and clinicians flexibility through in-person and telehealth consultations Australia-wide.
Our Referral Process
We want you to feel comfortable that when you refer clients to us, they are in safe hands.
This is how our referral process works for the majority of clients.
We aim to keep you informed of treatment plans and progress as much as possible, however, if there is a client you are particularly concerned about, you are welcome to contact us at any time during this process.
Meet your key contact, Toni
Practice Manager, Toni Gumley, has worked with us for over ten years and is the backbone of practice operations.
If you have any questions about clients you have referred to us, conditions we treat, availability of clinicians, suitability of clinicians for specific clients - or anything else, Toni will be happy to help you.
