About Roanna

Roanna is a warm and engaging Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting clients across the lifespan. She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney and graduated with first-class honours from the University of New South Wales. Her career has included work across NSW hospital settings and private practice, where she has developed deep expertise in psychological assessment and intervention. Roanna is accredited in the assessment of ADHD and ASD (ADOS-2) and is currently pursuing accreditation in Schema Therapy. Alongside her clinical practice, she facilitates workshops in schools and with parents with The Kidman Centre (UTS) and provides teacher training programs across regional NSW, driven by her passion for youth mental health and early intervention.

Roanna’s therapeutic style is grounded in evidence-based practice combined with a strong appreciation of each person’s unique cultural, social, and developmental context. She aims to help clients develop insight into the patterns that drive their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, creating space for meaningful and lasting change. Her approach is collaborative and curious, with a focus on building safety, trust, and a shared understanding of each client’s goals.

Roanna works with a broad range of presentations and is particularly passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, neurodivergence, and the impacts of early life experiences. She has a special interest in helping clients navigate parenting and family stress, and exploring the cultural factors that inform their identity. She is known for her down-to-earth, strengths focused style and her ability to make clients feel understood, supported, and genuinely at ease.

Roanna aims to bring a sense of curiosity, collaboration, and occasional fun into sessions as clients grow and explore new life skills. In her spare time, Roanna is an avid Latin dancer, enjoys cooking up a storm with her family and is rarely found without her Kindle in hand.
