About Angelique

Angelique is a warm and collaborative Clinical Psychology Registrar who is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non‑judgemental space for her clients. She takes an evidence‑based approach to therapy, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrating strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs and goals.

She works with older adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety disorders, obsessive‑compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma‑related difficulties, mood concerns, stress, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal and relationship challenges, and emotion regulation difficulties. Her particular areas of interest include PTSD and trauma‑related disorders, anxiety and obsessive‑compulsive related disorders, low self‑esteem, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties.

Angelique has gained clinical experience across community, hospital, and university clinic settings, including the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Team and headspace at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, the UNSW Psychology Clinic, and the UNSW Parent‑Child Research Clinic. She also has experience conducting cognitive and diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Specific Learning Disorder.

Angelique holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Outside of her work at Aperture Psychology, she is completing a PhD at UNSW, where her research focuses on early intervention and mental health outcomes.
