Aperture Rise

An executive functioning skills group for adults with ADHD-related challenges.

Practical, skills-based support when everyday life feels harder than it should

If day-to-day life feels more effortful than it seems to be for other people, you are not alone.

Some people know what needs to be done but struggle to get started, stay organised, or follow through consistently. Over time, this can lead to overwhelm, frustration, and being hard on yourself, especially if you have already tried systems and strategies that haven't stuck.

This group has been developed for adults who feel capable and genuinely want to do well, yet still find everyday life harder than it should be.

About the group

This is a practical, skills-based group focused on executive functioning. Executive functioning refers to the mental processes involved in planning, organisation, time management, and follow through.

The group is evidence-informed and facilitated by clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists. It focuses on understanding how your brain works and learning realistic strategies that can be applied in everyday life.

The aim is not to “fix you” or to tell you to “try harder.” It is to support you to build systems that work with your brain, not against it.

A formal ADHD diagnosis is not required to participate.

This group is suitable for adults aged 17 and over who:

  • are looking for practical, structured support rather than just information
