About Daniel

Daniel Stein brings a rich and diverse professional background to his work as a Clinical Psychologist. Before beginning his career in psychology, Daniel spent more than two decades in the corporate and IT sector. This lived experience of navigating high‑pressure environments and major career transitions deeply informs his understanding of human resilience and change. Since completing his clinical training, he has supported clients across private practice and hospital settings, including his work with the Older People’s Mental Health Service at St Vincent’s Hospital, where he worked with mature adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns.

Daniel’s therapeutic approach is grounded in collaboration, respect, and evidence‑based practice. Working primarily within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, he integrates additional therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s needs. Daniel values creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard and understood. He works alongside clients to help them explore what is holding them back, build meaningful coping strategies, and move toward the changes they want to make in their lives.

Daniel supports clients with a wide range of concerns, and he has particular interest in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and adjustment challenges, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, and workplace‑related concerns. His background in the corporate sector gives him a unique perspective when working with clients navigating professional stress, burnout, and career‑related issues. Daniel is also experienced in supporting adults with ADHD and autism and helping clients understand how their patterns of thinking and behaviour influence their wellbeing.

Daniel is committed to helping people create meaningful and lasting change. He brings warmth and genuine curiosity to his work and values the privilege of supporting clients through both challenging and transformative moments.
